X-Protracker

X-Protracker is an Atari ST/STE music tracker released in April 1993 by Sentry, with Wizzcat credited as programmer. It is a modified version of the Protracker ST code and follows the ProTracker-style approach to composing and playing sample-based MOD music.

Designed primarily for the Atari STE, X-Protracker belongs to the generation of trackers that brought Amiga-style sample tracking to Atari's 16-bit computers. It was particularly associated with the Atari demoscene and was used as a tool for creating music and soundtracks.

X-Protracker is compatible with the Atari ST and STE, with later Atari systems such as the TT and Falcon also listed as compatible. The original release was freeware.
