Adam+ Emulator Soundeditor

About

What is Adam+ Soundeditor?

The new and highly advanced Sound Editor in the Adam+ Emulator supports both sound chips: the SN76489 and the AY-3-8910 found in the Super Game Module. It also supports importing MIDI and MOD files, with automatic conversion to CVBasic or Assembly data. Coming soon as part of our major Adam+ Emulator upgrade!

Furthermore

ADAM+ is also a modern emulator and development toolkit for the ColecoVision and Coleco ADAM, developed by Danny Van den Heuvel. Built with Qt6, the project aims to reproduce the experience of the original 1983 ADAM computer while providing modern debugging, development and media-management tools.

The emulator supports ColecoVision ROMs as well as Coleco ADAM disk and tape media. Its development features include memory and disassembly viewers, breakpoints, memory editing and other debugging tools. The project also integrates development tools for CVBasic, including an IDE, sprite editor, graphic editor and sound editor.

Development

The project is open source in the sense that its author states that the C++ code is his own and may be used for all purposes, while also noting that some third-party components impose additional restrictions. The repository is under active development and includes Windows and Linux builds.
