We are proud to publish "MUCOM88" created by Yuzo Koshiro, a legendary game music composer.

Open MUCOM 88 is a project to utilize open source based on MUCOM88 source code of FM synthesis sound driver operating on NEC's PC-8801 series. MUCOM 88 Windows is a system for running MUCOM88 on Windows. Both the command line version and the GUI version are prepared.

"MUCOM88" and "MUCOM88 Windows" released in OBSLive year-end live broadcast in 2018. The original MUCOM88 disk images are also available at Ancient's site.

Open MUCOM88 is an open source project based on the source code of MUCOM88, the FM sound driver by Yuzo Koshiro, which had been running on the PC-8801 series of NEC. The original MUCOM88 disk image is available on the site of Ancient Corporation.

MUCOM88 Windows is a system to run MUCOM88 on Windows. Available in both command line and GUI versions, no BIOS or disk image is required. It is possible to play back an actual YM2608 chip connected externally via SCCI2.
